How to use MenuProfit
A simple walkthrough β from zero to knowing your real profit.

Part 1 Β· Set up your restaurant

Step 1
Add your restaurant details
Do: Enter your name, country, currency and VAT setting.
Why: Sets the currency and tax basis for every number you'll see.

Add your sales channels & exact fees
Do: Add Dine-In, Talabat, Deliveroo, Noon, etc. For each delivery app enter the real commission %, fixed fee, payment %, delivery fee, monthly fee and ad spend β plus who pays discounts and whether commission is charged before or after the discount.
Why: Every platform agreement is different. MenuProfit never assumes β your exact fees make the profit and payout math correct.
Add Sales Channels βStep 3
Add your menu items & recipes
Do: For each item add the selling price, the platform price, packaging, wastage and the ingredients with their cost.
Why: This gives the true cost of each dish, and which items make or lose money.

Add your monthly fixed costs
Do: Salaries, rent, utilities, software, marketing retainer, etc. Pick monthly / weekly / yearly and we convert it.
Why: Fixed costs are what you pay even with zero orders β needed to know if the whole business is profitable.

Enter this month's sales
Do: Type how many of each item sold on each channel. Use the month picker to fix or add past months.
Why: This is the single source of truth β your revenue, food cost and margins all derive from it, and it builds your trend history.

Do: Enter what each platform actually deposited. We compare it to what they owed you and flag the gap.
Why: Catches hidden deductions when a platform pays you less than the agreed fees β money most owners never notice.

No. Every screen asks one simple question and gives one clear answer, with tooltips for any finance term.
οΌWhere does my data come from?
You enter it manually or upload files (POS reports, platform payout statements, bills, receipts). We extract the numbers and you confirm them before anything is saved.
οΌAre my platform fees assumed?
Never. You enter the exact commission and fees for each platform β including whether commission is charged before or after the discount β because every agreement is different.
οΌDoes it count every cost?
Yes. Net profit includes each platform's commission, fixed fee, payment fee, delivery fee, monthly platform fee and ad/CPC spend. The per-platform P&L adds up exactly to your business net profit.
οΌHow do I know if a platform underpaid me?
Use βDid I get paid right?β. Enter what each platform actually deposited and we flag any gap versus what they owed you after the agreed fees.
οΌDoes the AI CFO make up numbers?
